Who am I ?

Alan Roditi is driven by a desire to learn, succeed, and serve others in achieving their goals.  As evidenced by his diverse service-oriented background, this dedicated professional continually strives to read his clientele's needs whether spoken or unspoken, and spring to action with streamlined results.

Not considered an impulse buyer, Alan himself was impressed years ago by a realtor who in their first day out showed him two properties which he liked and bid upon.   His skills include intense listening, keen understanding of body language and quick response that Alan vows to bring to his own loyal, satisfied client base. It's as important to listen carefully to a buyer's or seller's words as it is to read their actions in order to really determine someone's real estate aspirations.  My role is to translate those needs into a well-focused effort to attain their goals, all the while educating people throughout their transaction to make them comfortable and confident with each step.

A native New Yorker, Alan grew up in the Bronx and in many areas of Manhattan and is now a long time Bergen County resident.  Alan is a well-educated individual. He attended Pace University and earned a BBA degree in Marketing and also received a Master's in Education from the University, a master's degree in Gemology as well as a Computer Technology Degree from NYU, and Science degrees from UMASS and Cornell.  He spent a decade as a gemologist who traveled the world buying and selling gemstones, and for the next 20 years he set up computer systems for several major companies, handling everything from building networks, web sites and tech support to overseeing projects as a senior manager.  Alan has just retired from teaching high school science for the past 12 years.  

For Alan, finding his niche in real estate has meant transferring his many relevant skills to enhance the real estate experience for his New Jersey residential clients. Having owned and renovated several NYC and Bergen County properties he has further fueled his expectations as an attentive, hardworking real estate agent, and he provides nothing less for his clientele.

What makes Alan different is the way he returns every phone call promptly...the enthusiasm and commitment he shows each client so that they feel they're the only one he's working with...the effort he puts into making the often-stressful details of a real estate deal seamless and painless for his buyers and sellers, so their time is better utilized.

A current Fort Lee resident who enjoys a spectacular city skyline view from his coop, Alan frequents restaurants, nightspots, and other recreational outlets in the area, plus has an interest in the outdoors, photography, fashion, art, science, education, and computers.
